What is a work placement?
A work placement is a period of supervised work and professional activity, tailored for each student so that he or she can gain a real job experience. This is also a great way to help them boost their future career by learning a new trade
How does Training Vision Ireland organise the work placement?
Training Vision Ireland has a clear procedure to secure work placements for students. Our Work Placement Officer will first examine the participants CV’s. She will focus on their personality, skills and previous experience and research companies that would be a good match to the participant. She will organise a draft of the participant’s working schedule with the company and ensure that the tasks the student will be carrying out during their internship will be suitable.
Our work placement officer will take care in finding a suitable work placement for all students so that they will enjoy their experience in Ireland. She will also monitor the Work placements by communicating with the participant and the host company regularly so that everything runs as smoothly as possible. She will closely monitor the work placement especially in the beginning to ensure both the host company and participant are comfortable with each other.
We currently are cooperating with many host companies that are in several different sectors and of different sizes.

Work Placement Officer
In Training Vision Ireland, our Work Placement Officer Leah Crowley is responsible for providing each student with the most suitable internship, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of every work placement.
